Your dad was such a special man. He was one of my Dad's(Vincent Olafsen) best friends at Monroe Village. What a foursome they were, my Dad, Bob, George and Arthur. They were my lunch bunch every Wednesday. We moved to NC but I kept in touch with Bob and took him and Gladys to lunch whenever we came up to visit my daughter. We used to talk by phone at Gladys'. This past year has been difficult to keep up our contact but he has always been in my prayers. He was the last of the lunch bunch and will always be in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To the Guise family,

I had the good fortune to Know Bob briefly when I first started with the Sherrifs Department and then later at a few of the retirement dinners we both attended. A genuine gentleman and all around good guy.He was well respected and was somone who could be approached for advice and encouragement on the job.

Growing up a small boy in milltown I never forget Bob & his freezer fresh truck. What a wonderful man he was. Us kids loved him . If we didn't have enough money, ( or none) Bob still gave us ice cream.
Thank you Mr. Guise for the beautiful example you set forth for me.

Guise family.....I'm so sorry to hear about Bob. I worked with your Dad in the Sheriff's Dept. for many years. We worked quite a few shifts together. The guys all liked and respected your Dad. Bob was a class act and I'll remember him in my prayers. Bob...till we meet again brother.
